Terms Of Ticket Sales

1. General Provisions

1.1. These Terms of Ticket Sales (hereinafter: “Terms”) regulate the rights and obligations between KIOSK KIOSK j.d.o.o., Cerje Samoborsko 2D, 10430 Samobor, OIB 80194440133, MBS 081636939 (hereinafter: “Seller”), and any natural or legal person (individual or company) purchasing a ticket for the Kiosk Conference (hereinafter: “Buyer”).

1.2. By using the website www.kioskconference.com and/or purchasing tickets, the Buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in their entirety. These Terms form an integral part of the distance sales agreement.

1.3. In case of any conflict between provisions of these Terms, the provisions of Section 11 (Responsibility and Security) shall prevail in all matters related to force majeure and unforeseen circumstances.

1.4. All matters not explicitly governed by these Terms are subject to the applicable laws of the Republic of Croatia, especially the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Commerce Act, the Civil Obligations Act, and other relevant EU regulations.

2. Definitions

  • Ticket – An electronic or printed document granting access to the Kiosk Conference (Conference) on the date indicated on the Seller’s website.
  • Conference – A one-day professional branding event held in Zagreb at the time specified at the time of ticket purchase.
  • Consumer – A natural person who purchases a ticket outside of their trade, business, craft, or professional activity.
  • Company Buyer – A legal entity (company or organization) purchasing tickets on behalf of employees, partners, or representatives.

3. Prices and Payment Methods

3.1. All Ticket prices are listed excluding VAT (25%). VAT will be added during the final step of your purchase.

3.2. Payment may be made via:

  • Bank transfer to the Seller’s account,
  • Other electronic payment methods as made available on the website.

4. Order Process and Contract Conclusion

4.1. The Buyer expresses interest in purchasing tickets by filling out an Order Form, specifying the number of tickets desired and any other necessary billing information.

4.2. The Seller will respond via email with a formal offer including ticket details, total price, and payment instructions.

4.3. The sales contract is deemed concluded once the Buyer completes payment in accordance with the offer. Upon confirming payment, the Seller will issue an invoice and deliver the ticket(s) in digital format via email.

5. Ticket Delivery

5.1. Tickets are delivered exclusively in digital form (PDF) with ticket holder name(s) stated on each ticket, to the Buyer’s email address.

5.2. The Buyer is responsible for providing an accurate email address and for checking their spam/junk folder. The Seller is not liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect information provided by the Buyer.

5.3 Ticket holders must present their ticket (printed or digital) and a valid ID at the entrance on the Conference event day.

6. Ticket Transfers

6.1. If the ticket holder is unable to attend, they may transfer the ticket to another person free of charge.

6.2.  Ticket transfer requests must be submitted via email (tickets@kioskconference.com) no later than 7 days before the event.

7. Right of Withdrawal

7.1. In accordance with Article 86(1)(l) of the Consumer Protection Act, the Consumer does not have the right to unilaterally withdraw from the contract, as the service pertains to leisure activities on a specific date.

7.2. As stated in Section 6, transfers are possible upon written request at least 7 days before the event.

7.3. Please note that Company Buyers are not considered consumers under Croatian law and therefore are not entitled to any right of withdrawal under the Consumer Protection Act.

8. Refunds and Event Cancellation or Changes

8.1. The Seller reserves the right to change the program, speakers, location, and schedule of the conference for justified reasons (e.g., force majeure, illness, safety concerns). Such changes do not entitle Buyer to any refund or partial refund.

8.2. No refunds will be issued for purchased tickets, including cases of Buyer non-attendance or change of personal circumstances.

8.3. In the unlikely event that the Conference is postponed, Buyer’s ticket will automatically be valid for the new event date.

8.4. In the event of full Conference cancellation for reasons not classified as force majeure, the Buyer will be offered a refund by the Seller of the ticket purchase amount (excluding any transaction fees), upon request. In cases where the cancellation is due to force majeure circumstances (as outlined in Section 11.3), no refunds shall be made unless specifically decided by the Seller.

8.5. The Seller is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the Buyer (e.g., travel or accommodation) due to event changes or cancellation.

9. Complaints

9.1. In accordance with Article 10 of the Consumer Protection Act, Consumer complaints may be submitted:

10. Personal Data Protection

10.1. The Seller processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the national Data Protection Act.

10.2. Details are available in the Privacy Policy published on the Seller’s website.

11. Responsibility and Security

11.1. The Buyer is responsible for safeguarding their ticket from unauthorized use. Copying, resale, or duplication of tickets is strictly prohibited.

11.2. All attendees must behave respectfully towards fellow attendees, speakers, partners, and event staff. The Seller reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person who behaves disruptively or inappropriately, without refund.

11.3. The Seller is not liable for delays or failures to fulfill obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic, acts of government, labor disputes, technical failures, or other force majeure events. In such cases, no refunds shall be made unless specifically decided by the Seller.

12. Photography and Media Consent

12.1. By attending the Conference, ticket holders acknowledge that photos, videos, and audio recordings may be taken by the organizer or authorized partners and consent to the use of your image or likeness for promotional purposes without compensation.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

13.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia.

13.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the competent court in Zagreb, Croatia.

14. Amendments to the Terms

14.1. The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Amendments shall become effective upon publication on the website or on the date explicitly stated.

14.2. For Buyers who have purchased tickets prior to any amendments, the Terms valid at the time of purchase shall apply.
